hi, just want to contact people who are on a diet to share ideas. I have been on a diet for 6 months but I have to say I’m fed up with it and I’m thinking of giving it up. In summer it’s even more difficult because I have parties, bbqs all the time. What’s your situation?

hello, just want to ask you if you know the name of some vitamins I can take cos I’ve been feeling weak for 2 months. I don’t know why, it may be because of the heat. Some friends tell me it could be iron deficiency, but before going to the doctor, I prefer to try with some vitamins…

Hi, my best friend is getting married in a few months and I am preparing a hen party for her. I have been told that many British people go to Benidorm for hen parties, but I’m not sure about it, as I don’t know if the other friends will like the idea… it is far away, it must be a lot of money, and just for a weekend. Has anyone been to Benidorm for a hen party? I would like to have some information about prices, places to go, etc before asking the rest.

I have a wedding in July on a Saturday evening. I’m thinking of wearing a long dress because it’s what my friends tell me, as the wedding is in the evening, but I have to say that I don’t like long dresses because I feel fat in them, so I don’t know what to do… Would you wear a shorter dress?

Hello, my husband and I would like to go to Spain to live. We both are retired and fed up with the English weather. Also, we have some friends living in Spain and they are really happy, they told us that they have a calm and peaceful life over there and lovely weather too. They thing is that we are not sure because our children would stay in England and I reckon I would miss my daughter… I think they need us, but my husband says that we need to enjoy our retirement days as much as possible. Do you know anybody living in Spain? Our friends live in the south-east, in Alicante. Another matter that makes me doubt is the language, I don’t think we could learn Spanish at our age…

Hello. I am 45 years old and have been smoking since I was 17. Two months ago I had such a strong pneumonia that I was admitted in hospital for a week. The doctor told me I had to give up smoking immediately, as my lumps were terribly damaged. And of course, as you can imagina, I did so, well… I am trying it… My question is if some of you have experienced the same, as I am finding it very hard, I suppose my body needs more nicotine than water. Some people told me to read a book, I don’t know if you know it, it is called  Easy way to stop smoking by Allen Carr. I don’t know how long it will take me not to think of my cigarettes every day… And also, I am very depressed and in a bad mood all the time… it that normal?? ok, thanks in advance.

Hello, everybody, I have a problem and need some advice. I have been a widow for many years and had a dog since my husband died, that is, for 10 years. Two months ago my dog died of a tumor and since then I am feeling terribly sad and very lonely. I thought I would overcome its absence, but I haven’t. Now I don’t know whether to buy another dog or not. I have asked my friends and they have different opinions. What are your thoughts?
